Websters: tumult: agitation, uproar, turbulence; see confusion, disturbance, fight
Rogets: tumult: commotion, AGITATION, turbulence, DISORDER
Websters goes for the connotation first, while Rogets considers the action part of the word while refering us to the connotation. There are tons of words under Roget's "Agitation" and "Disorder," and same for Webster's "confusion," "disturbance," and "fight."
This one would be a tie, but Websters gives us more words on our first scan. Yet I did look up the word "look" in Rogets to get the word scan...let's see if Websters gives us something similar:
Websters: look:...ah, nevermind, it gives us "scan" as well.
Websters wins this one. Websters is ahead by one because last time was a tie.
